My Plumber was set up by Jamie Glasson, the plumber who won the London round of Britain's Favourite Plumber 2005* and Angela Lyons-Glasson, ex-City lawyer. We have a small team of qualified, experienced plumbers who know their trade well and who are committed to providing our clients with a great service. As well as being good plumbers, we understand the importance of communication, consideration and reliability.

04/01/2009 		I called to Saturday morning for urgent assistance with a leak. I was told someone would call me back. No one called. I called them back and was again told a plumber would call me back ASAP. Again, nothing. It is now Sunday morning and no one has bothered to call me back despite me laeving yet another message this morning.

I am very disappointed, given the glowing reviews, with this level of service and hope myplumber are not resting on their laurels.

04/11/2008 		I would like to thank Marion for helping me to organise for my boiler to be repaired.  I have a young family and we woke up to no heating on a Saturday morning.  I called the company and they sent someone out almost immediately.  The engineer clearly knew what he was talking about and fixed the problem there and then.  The charges were exactly what I was told over the phone so no nasty surprises.  Highly recommended and I would certainly use them again.

hot water in cold taps dilemma

25/10/2008 		This is not an easy problem and most plumbers I called had never heard of it, so I do not want to denigrate Myplumber too much.Also they are indeed prompt, but who wouldn't be at an hourly rate for a 15 minute site visit.  However, once they had had me spend £300 on one site visit and a new carteridge in my shower unit only to discover that this was not the remedy, they began to disappear.  The office is full of very courteous and efficent people, but the plumber ran a mile. Never responded to my many messages asking him for advice even though I made it very clear that I was not expecting him to do the job--he had already expressed, honestly, his concern tha he did not really understand it.  The real problem is that young plumbers do not understand old systems and they cannot be bothered to get on their hands and knees to find out.  He did not look in the attic with a torch to  feel the pipes --if he had he would have found unussually hot pipes and a second tank full of hot water backing up from boiler.  He could have quoted for a new boiler and found himself with a nice big job.  It took a retired 60 year old to find that out because he brought a torch with him!

06/06/2008 		The feedback on this company is so good that I decided to give it another go, and got the great service everyone's talked about. Speedy, polite plumber turned up and diagnosed the problem without fuss or mess.

[previous comments: Plumber didn't turn up and only when I called the office found out he'd forgotten his tools and turned back. No communication for three hours by which time we'd had to go. Would not recommend this company.]

I called MyPlumber after my hot water cy
11/12/2007 I called MyPlumber after my hot water cylinder burst. Within two days they had been round to inspect it, given me an estimate and booked the job in. Russell who came to do the job was punctual, professional and very helpful. He completed the work in the alloted time and was cheerful and polite throughout. I was very impressed with the MyPlumber service and will be recommending them to my friends.

Leaky Loo? No problem for My Plumber. My
18/09/2007 Leaky Loo? No problem for My Plumber. My enquiry efficiently and pleasantly dealt with by the office and their plumber turned up on the dot. I soon had a non leaky loo. He left the site spick and span. Will definitely use again.

14/09/2007 Dear Dolly Just wanted to drop you a line to give you some feedback about Jason. He was brilliant! He got on with the job, was pleasant and polite. To my great surprise, after he had left, I went back upstairs to put all the furniture back that we had had to move to give him access to the loft space only to find that he had left the room tidy and back to normal. In all my dealings with tradesmen I have never had anyone do that! It was not just put back roughly either - things were in the right place. Please thank him for me!

Very efficient and friendly service from
Very efficient and friendly service from My Plumber when they installed a new shower. The standard of workmanship in removing existing bath and tiling and installing new shower and shelving was extremely high with courteous plumbers who knew what they were doing and cleaned up after them. Would highly recommend.

My Plumber has changed our low opinion of general contractors and plumbers in general. My Plumber offered us a very efficient and professional service by turning up promptly, dealing with the problem quickly and at a very reasonable price.We even received a call to check everything was ok after the plumber left. We're converted!

I have known Jamie for a couple of years
I have known Jamie for a couple of years and have found him to be consistently reliable, reasonably priced and honest. He has recently completed a central heating system which I couldn't be happier with. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

My Plumber replaced our boiler and made sure that our central heating system was working well. We appreciated their quick response, informed advice, realistic timescales and excellent work and have asked them to do more work as soon as they can slot us in.

What a prompt, professional and efficien
What a prompt, professional and efficient service in mending our outflow leak. Philip found us with no problem, arrived within 15 minutes of the agreed time and fixed the problem within one hour. We are very impressed and have recommended My Plumber to our estate management and our neighbours. Wonderful to have such a helpful service available so locally.

I used My Plumber upon recommendation by....
I used My Plumber upon recommendation by a friend and work colleague. The firm provided a quick and efficient service. There was a plumber available to meet my schedule, i wouldnt have to wait weeks, and when the chap turned up he was extremely professional and completed the job very quickly, with no disruption and left the place clean. I was impressed, especially with the cost. I will use this firm for any future plumbing work.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and expertise displayed by all the people I dealt with at My Plumber. They did an excellent job installing a new shower for us and sorted out lots of little problems that were the result of less-good workmanship first time round. I'd highly recommend them.

What a wonderful change to have a bunch
What a wonderful change to have a bunch of people who really provide a great service - from the initial phone call, the visit and follow up check from the girls in the office. I would certainly recommend My Plumber to anyone who has a plumbing job however big or small.

My Plumber installed central heating in ....
My Plumber installed central heating in my flat and I have been entirely satisfied with the process, from Jamie's first visit to the efficient completion of the work. Jamie was far more thorough and inspired more confidence than other plumbers who came to give quotes, the price was competitive, and the two men who did the work were punctual, reliable and tidy. I would highly recommend My Plumber.

I had a really good service from My Plumber and would ghihgly recommend them.Might not be the cheapest, but showed up on time, found the problem and solved it. Was very polite, curteous and clean work.
